Chicago Marathon

My friend Renee ran the Chicago Marathon on Sunday morning. She asked that I send my thoughts to her from Tibet for this race - - and we did! It's now 10:14 a.m. Monday here which means it's late Sunday night. How are you doing, Renee? How was it? I heard the weather was blistering hot and that one person died. It must have been a grueling race but I'm confident you ran the way you've trained: with diligence and determination!! I've been so impressed with the way you've attacked this running passion with vigor and your level of commitment. I can't wait to talk to you to see how it went!
